• The dog must be an indoor pet dog, have been trained to a minimum standard, and not cause a nuisance to other temple users or worshippers.
  • The dog must be properly toilet trained and not exhibit any problem behaviors such as excessive barking, jumping on others, attacking others, or destroying the facility.
  • Able to walk on a lead.
  • You are not undergoing treatment for an illness or injury.
  • Your dog must be at least four months old on the day your stay begins. For puppies under one year old, you must submit proof that they meet the following two conditions at the time of booking.
    • The dog has received one rabies vaccination after 91 days of age.
    • The dog has received at least two doses of a combination vaccine containing five or more vaccines, and the second or subsequent dose was given after 90 days of age.
  • Flea and tick control measures have been completed.
  • For females, they must not be in heat (4 weeks after the start of menstruation) or pregnant.
  • Vaccination certificates for rabies and viral diseases (combined vaccine of 5 or more types) must be presented at the time of reservation and must be more than 2 weeks but less than 1 year old. If the certificate is more than 1 year old at the time of check-in, a new valid certificate must be presented upon arrival.
  • If your veterinarian has granted you a valid reason for exemption from rabies vaccination or combination vaccination, please submit a “vaccination deferral certificate” or “antibody test results” instead.
  • Please do not bring any pet dogs other than those belonging to guests.
  • Pets allowed are limited to pet dogs.
  • Please brush and shampoo your dog before your stay to prevent it from causing a nuisance to other guests with body odor or shedding.
  • The following size limits for pet dogs are allowed:

Precautions

  • If your dog’s paws are dirty, please wipe them off before entering the guest room (doma area).
  • There is plenty of space in the dirt floor area, but please keep your dog on a lead hook or in a cage or carrier to prevent it from running around freely.
  • Please use your dog’s toilet pad on the toilet mat you bring with you. If using outdoors, please avoid buildings, decks, wood chips, grass, utility poles, etc.
  • Please use a poop bag to take your feces home responsibly and dispose of it in the designated trash cans within the hotel. Please do not flush it down the toilet in your guest room.
  • Please note that in order to maintain the lawn and the environment on the premises, work such as mowing the lawn may be carried out regardless of the day of the week.
  • Depending on the season, some areas may be sprayed with herbicides. We will notify you in advance when spraying will be carried out, so please refrain from bringing your pet dog with you. Please note that we will not be held responsible for any impacts that may occur if your pet enters despite this notice.
  • If you make a mess in your room or in a common area, please clean up promptly and in a hygienic manner and contact us.
  • Please refrain from leaving your pet dog in the room while you go out. If you need to take your pet with you, please make sure to bring it with you in a cage or carrier bag that does not bark or act violently.
  • Please note that we do not have any cages available for rental at our facility.
  • We do not offer pet boarding services at our facility.
  • Shampooing, bathing, trimming, or brushing dogs is strictly prohibited in guest rooms or bathrooms.
  • Never let your dog on bedding, sofas, or other furniture.
  • Please do not use the provided dishes and towels for your pet dog.
  • Please be careful not to damage the building, furniture, fixtures, equipment, etc., and please be aware that you will be responsible for any damage or loss that occurs.

What you should bring

  • Towels to dry your feet when you come back from a walk
  • Cleaning supplies (stain wipes and deodorizing sprays) are available for immediate response in case of unexpected accidents in the room.
  • Toilet supplies in the room (pee sheets, wet wipes, etc.) (Pet sheets are available)
  • Food (feeder and water bowls are provided)
  • Collar, leash, and special bedding that your pet is used to using
  • Cages and Carry Bags
  • To make the room comfortable, bring along the usual toys, towels, rugs, etc.
  • Other items necessary for your dog to have a stress-free and comfortable stay

Additional Info

Please note that we may refuse accommodation if there are any false statements in your application, or if you or your accompanying dog violate these terms and conditions during your stay and cause significant inconvenience, danger, or accidents to temple visitors or other guests. We will do our best to accommodate your dog, but in the unlikely event that an injury, escape, or fatal accident occurs due to force majeure, the facility will not be held responsible. Similarly, we will not be held responsible for any trouble caused by dogs between temple users or between dogs. If damage is incurred by the facility, other guests, employees, or third parties, you will be required to compensate the relevant party for the damage.
