Passed the first round of screening for the Japan Tourism Awards 2026

We had entered the Japan Tourism Awards 2026 with “Terahaku, a Light in a Town with No Inns, and the Passing On of Traditional Culture.” The other day, the secretariat let us know that the TEMPLE STAY ZENSŌ entry, “Terahaku, a Light in a Town with No Inns, and the Passing On of Traditional Culture,” has passed the first round of screening!

The 10th “Japan Tourism Awards”

We are truly grateful to have passed the first round of screening among so many distinguished initiatives.

It seems we will now move on to the second round of screening and the final selection meeting.

We are told the screening will proceed within this month. Whatever the result, it is a great joy that this initiative is getting attention.
