• The dog must be an indoor dog, a family dog, minimally trained, and not a nuisance to other temple users or temple visitors.
  • The dog must be well potty trained and free of problem behaviors such as barking, jumping, aggression, and destruction of facilities.
  • Must be able to walk with a leash.
  • Must not be undergoing treatment for illness or injury.
  • The dog must be at least 4 months old at the start of the stay. Puppies under 1 year of age must submit proof of the following two conditions at the time of reservation.
    • Has received one rabies vaccination after 91 days of age.
    • Has received at least 2 doses of at least 5 or more combined vaccinations.The second and subsequent vaccinations must be given after 90 days of age.
  • Flea and tick control measures must have been taken.
  • Females must not be in estrus (4 weeks from the start of menstruation) or pregnant.
  • The applicant must have been vaccinated against rabies and viral infections (a minimum of 5 combined vaccines) at least 2 weeks but less than 1 year ago and present the certificate at the time of reservation. If the certificate is more than one year old by the time of check-in, a new valid certificate must be presented again upon arrival.
  • If your veterinarian has a valid reason to exempt your pet from rabies vaccination or mixed vaccination, please submit a “Certificate of Deferral of Vaccination” or “Antibody Test Result” instead.
  • Do not bring pet dogs other than those staying at the hotel.
  • Only pet dogs are allowed.
  • Brush and shampoo your dog before your stay to avoid disturbing other guests with body odor and shedding hair.
  • Dogs of the following sizes are allowed to accompany you.

Notes.

  • Please wipe your dog’s feet if they are dirty when going up to the guest room (earthen floor area).
  • Please place your dog’s toilet on the toilet seat you bring in the guest room. When outdoors, please avoid buildings, decks, woodchips, lawns, utility poles, etc.
  • Please take feces home responsibly using a poop bag and dispose of it in the dedicated trash can designated in the hotel. Please do not flush it down the toilet in your room.
  • In order to maintain the lawn and environment on the grounds, mowing and other work may be performed on any day of the week. Please understand this in advance.
  • Some areas may be sprayed with herbicide depending on the season. We will notify you in advance when spraying, so please refrain from using the facility with your dog. Please be aware that we will not be responsible for any consequences if your dog enters the area despite our notification.
  • In the unlikely event of any rough behavior in the guest room or common areas, please clean up the mess hygienically and contact us as soon as possible.
  • Please do not leave your dog unattended in the room. If it is necessary, please make sure that your dog is in a kennel or carrier bag that you have brought with you and that it does not bark or act out.
  • Please note that there are no cages available for rent at this facility.
  • The facility does not provide pet care services.
  • Shampooing, bathing, trimming, or brushing dogs in the guest room or bathrooms is strictly prohibited.
  • Never place your dog on bedding, sofas, or other furniture.
  • Please do not use the dishes and towels provided for your dog.
  • Please be careful not to damage the building, furniture, fixtures, fittings, and other items, and understand in advance that you will be responsible for any damage to the building, furniture, fittings, and other items.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse accommodation in the event that there is any falsity in your application, or if the guest or accompanying dog violates these rules during the stay and causes significant inconvenience, danger, or accident to temple visitors or other guests. We will do our best to accommodate your dog, but we cannot be held responsible for any injuries, escapes, or deaths that may occur due to force majeure. We also cannot be held responsible for any problems that may occur between temple guests or between dogs that are caused by pet dogs. In the event of any damage to the facility, other guests, employees, or third parties, we ask that you compensate the relevant parties for the loss or damage.
