Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms and conditions govern the use of the wireless internet connection environment (hereinafter referred to as “wireless LAN”) provided by the religious corporation Horinji Temple and TEMPLESTAY ZENSŌ (hereinafter referred to as “this temple”) to worshippers and facility users (hereinafter collectively referred to as “users”).

Article 2 (Service Contents)

Users may use the wireless LAN within the Facility in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions and to the extent permitted by these Terms and Conditions.

Article 3 (Available Time)

The wireless LAN can be used during the temple’s business hours. However, the temple reserves the right to change the available hours without prior notice.

Article 4 (Terms of Use)

The user shall prepare, at his/her own expense, the necessary communication equipment etc. to use the wireless LAN.

Article 5 (Prohibited Matters)

1. Users are prohibited from engaging in any of the following acts.

1. Any act that infringes or may infringe the copyright or any other rights of a third party or the temple.
2. Any act that infringes or may infringe on the property of a third party or the temple
3. In addition to the cases listed in the previous two paragraphs, any act that causes or may cause disadvantage or damage to a third party or the temple.
4. Any act that slanders a third party or this temple.
5. Any act that is contrary to public order and morals, or any act that may be contrary to public order and morals, or any act that provides information that is contrary to public order and morals.
6. Criminal acts or acts that are or may be linked to criminal acts
7. Using or providing harmful programs such as computer viruses through or in connection with a wireless LAN
8. Sending advertising, promotional or solicitation emails, short messages, text chats, etc. to an unspecified number of people
9. Use of file sharing software and transmission of extremely large amounts of data
10. In addition to the above, any actions that violate or may violate laws and regulations, or actions that the temple deems inappropriate.

2. If any of the actions of a user that fall under any of the items in the preceding paragraph cause damage to the temple or a third party, the user shall compensate for such damage.

Article 6 (Cessation of Operation)

This templemay discontinue provision of wireless LAN if any of the following conditions apply:

1. When regular or emergency maintenance or construction of the wireless LAN system is carried out
2. When wireless LAN operation becomes impossible or difficult due to riots, unrest, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, tsunamis, fires, power outages, or other emergencies.
3. When there are unavoidable reasons, such as a failure of the wireless LAN system equipment or network.
4. Any other reason that the temple determines that temporary interruption is necessary for the operation of the wireless LAN.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. The temple shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by users in connection with the use of wireless LAN.
2. The temple makes no guarantee as to whether the wireless LAN is compatible with the communication devices used by users.
