ご挨拶 / Greeting

不確実で混沌とした問いの時代。だからこそ、少しでも立ち止まり、自分ごと化し、考え直す。そのきっかけをお寺が提供する。
宿坊ってどんなイメージでしょうか？門限がありそう？精進料理？朝早そう？少し厳しそうなイメージをお持ちじゃないでしょうか。なので宿坊とは呼びません。「寺泊」です。このお寺は堅苦しく入りづらいお寺にはしたくありません。ですが、お寺の厳かさ、規律は保ちたい。その絶妙なバランスを保ちながら少しでも皆さんが近づきやすい環境をつくっていく。
そんな想いのもと、このTEMPLE STAY ZENSŌは始まります。

In these uncertain and chaotic times, we believe temples can offer something valuable: a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
What comes to mind when you think of temple lodging? Strict curfews? Vegetarian meals? Early morning wake-up calls? Perhaps it feels a bit intimidating?
That is exactly why we do not call this a traditional [shukubo] (temple lodging). We call it [Terahaku] – a temple stay.
We want this temple to be approachable, not intimidating. At the same time, we want to preserve the sacred atmosphere and mindful practices that make temples special. It is about finding that perfect balance – creating a welcoming space where you can easily connect with temple life without feeling overwhelmed.
This is the spirit behind TEMPLE STAY ZENSŌ: accessible tranquility for modern travelers seeking meaningful pause.

NEWS

CONCEPT

□から1つ角が取れると△になり、全く角がなくなると◯になる。施設玄関にある円窓から着想し、禅をシンプルに表現した◯△□を起用。

ZENSŌはZEN「禅」とENSO「円窓」をかけ合わせ、様々な意味を内包する言葉として編み出しました。ENSŌには、「円窓」や「円相」、ZENSŌには「禅僧」「禅荘」（禅の宿泊施設）といった意味を内包します。随所にこういった禅の要素、仏教の要素が散りばめられ、余白を楽しみながらも、人生にスパイスを加えるような宿泊施設がコンセプトです。

When you remove one corner from a square □, it becomes a triangle △. Remove all corners, and it becomes a circle ◯.
Inspired by the circular window at the entrance, we have adopted the symbols ◯△□ as a simple expression of Zen philosophy.
ZENSŌ is a carefully crafted name that combines [ZEN] (禅 - Zen Buddhism) with [ENSŌ]. This layered wordplay carries multiple meanings:

ENSŌ evokes both [円窓] (circular window) and [円相] (the Zen circle, a symbol of enlightenment and the universe)
ZENSŌ suggests [禅僧] (Zen monk) and [禅荘] (a Zen lodging place)

Throughout the stay, guests will discover subtle touches of Zen and Buddhist philosophy woven into the experience. The concept is simple: a space that embraces simplicity and negative space, while adding a little spice to the journey of life.

The Airbnb was fully equipped with everything that we could want and more — from a restaurant quality kitchen to aromatherapy for our sleep.We added grilling to the Airbnb stay since there were many well-stocked supermarkets nearby. Shunko helped with set-up and cleaning of the grill, which was very helpful.The stay was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Our family of six could stay comfortably in the Airbnb.Looking forward to staying here again! Huge thank you to Shunko for taking care of us.

 確認済み 寺院很舒服，院子雨天跟晴天都非常的美。提供的自行车也很便捷，能够在乡下骑自行车在草丛和街道漫步很日剧的画面，傍晚的时候在河边骑车太惬意了。附近也有超市和餐厅。预约的披萨面团做出来的披萨非常好吃，烤肉也很有氛围，非常推荐大家来体验。

 確認済み 清潔感のある広々とした和室にふかふかの蒲団で、自宅以上に寛げました。飼い犬と一緒にバーベキューができるのも嬉しいです。今回はたまたま、バーベキュー用の食材が用意できなかったと事前に連絡を頂きましたが、お勧めのスーパー(ジャパンミート千代田店)を教えてもらい、画像の通り充分満喫することができました！

 確認済み 1日だけの滞在でしたが、数日滞在したくなる、心地よい宿でした！とてもキレイで、畳も心地よく、最高の空間です。BBQ、ピザ釜とピザ生地セット、パン、ドーナツなどなど食事も含めてオプションを付けさせていただき、これらがとても美味しかったです！小学5年生の甥っ子も初めての本格的なピザ作りに興奮しっぱなしでしたハイハイの1歳児も広い畳で安心して過ごせましたまたぜひお伺いしたいです！

 10確認済み Excepcional ☺ Exceptional Stay – Relaxed, Well-Equipped, and Welcoming in an amazing atmosphere, the monks quarter of the Temple. A perfect start to our Japan trip. We had a fantastic stay! The atmosphere was calm and very inviting. The place was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Unlike many accommodations, everything here was high quality – from the hair dryer  to the fully equipped kitchen with great utensils and cookware that felt good to use. The amenities were excellent, not the usual budget options. The temple area with its softly lit bell house added a beautiful, peaceful touch. The host was very friendly and made sure everything was ready for us – we didn’t miss a thing. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again!

 Trustindex は、レビューの元のソースが Google であることを確認します。 坐禅は普段からよくしているので、独りで集中的に坐禅するための接心を目的として来ました。 仏教や禅の思想にはそれなりに親しんでいましたが、黄檗宗というあまり近所にはない珍しい宗派だったので興味津津でした。坐禅体験、朝のお勤め、ともに刺激的で素晴らしい体験でした。 さらに宿坊の室内空間は、どこから切り取っても絵になるような美しさ。室内で坐禅をすることが目的でしたが、坐禅をしなくても調った空間にいるだけで自ずから心は調うということを体感しました。

Very unique stay - whole temple to your self. Rented the bbq equipment & brought my own ingredients. The setup is well planned. More bugs than I thought (end of April), the gardens in the bbq area & roof felt slightly like an afterthought but host was extremely easy to deal with. Great vibes & beautiful stay overall. 「鶴舞う形」の群馬県。首の部分が千代田町です。町の周辺には通称ビール麦と呼ばれる大麦の畑が広がり、利根川地下深層の天然水を生かしてビールなどの豊かな特産品を生み出しています。
